2010 INFORMATION/REGISTRATION

The Shaler Seadogs are a community swim team based at the Crawford Pool for those who are interested in a fun competitive swimming environment. We are part of the North Hills Summer Swim League (NHSSL) and will have swim meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The season begins with registration and practice indoors at the Shaler Area Elementary School Pool on Scott Avenue for NEW swimmers on May 17^th , May 19th and May 21st , from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm and ALL Swimmers to report on May 24th to June 5th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. First year swimmers will be dismissed at 6:30 pm. Outdoor practices will begin June 14th. The season will finish with a day at Sandcastle on July 22nd, and then our family picnic on July 18th at Kiwanis Park.

Requirements and Fees: Swimmers must be able to swim at least 25 yards unassisted. Registration Fees: 1st swimmer - $65, 2nd swimmer - $45, 3rd swimmer - $30, additional swimmers - $25. To swim in the NHSSL you must have either an individual or Family Membership (Click for form) to the Crawford Pool. Half-Year memberships are available for Seadog swimmers. Please request a confirmation letter (Click for form) at sign up.

Registration Forms (click for form) will be available during each registration period at the Scott Avenue Pool in the evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 pm until June 5th.

These suits will be availible to fit and order the first two weeks of indoor practice.

Outdoor practices will start June 14^th from 8:00am to 10:00 am and 10:00am to 11:00am, depending on the swimmers level of swimming and assignment by the coaches.

To swim in the NHSSL you need to have either an individual or family membership to the Crawford Pool.

The Shaler Seadogs is a community swim team for swimmers 6 to 17 years old. We practice mornings between 8:00am - 11:00am, depending on your ability level. We are part of the North Hills Summer Swim League and will have swim meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The season ends on July 18th with our family picnic.

A membership at Crawford Pool is necessary to join the Shaler Seadogs. Shaler Township is offering a 50% discount off their pool membership to swimmers that wish to swim for the Seadogs. This membership is only good until the Family Picnic on July 18th.

Shaler SEADOGS community swim club swam to an undefeated season this year. The first time in 10 years. As a member of the North Hills Summer Swim League the SEADOGS, who swim out of Kiwanis Park in Shaler Township, not only won the Sectionals Championship, but closed the season by winning the Relay Championships on July 20^th
